The Ministry of National Development Planning, commonly known as Bappenas, serves as the primary government body responsible for formulating national development strategies and assisting the President in steering the country’s trajectory. Within this organization, the Directorate of Tourism, Creative Economy, and Digital Economy plays a pivotal role in shaping policies that drive sustainable growth. Currently, the Directorate is seeking dynamic and motivated professionals to join the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP), a strategic initiative conducted in collaboration with the World Bank.
## Position Overview: Secretariat and Substantive Support
The SQTDP is currently recruiting two (2) contractual staff members to provide comprehensive administrative and technical support for a period of ten months. This role is ideal for individuals looking to contribute to high-impact national development projects while gaining invaluable experience in international policy cooperation.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be instrumental in the smooth execution of the program. Core responsibilities include:
* Administrative Coordination: Facilitating daily operations and ensuring seamless coordination across project workflows.
* Technical Documentation: Assisting in the preparation, organization, and documentation of technical and substantive program materials.
* Compliance and Quality Assurance: Overseeing document integrity and supporting the quality assurance process to obtain the No Objection Letter (NOL) from the World Bank.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a bridge between the Directorate, the SQTDP team, the World Bank, government agencies, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
* Follow-up Management: Ensuring all feedback and requirements from the World Bank and other partners are addressed promptly and effectively.
## Candidate Requirements
To ensure the success of this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Urban and Regional Planning or Economics, with a minimum GPA of 3.00. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
* Language Proficiency: A strong command of English, demonstrated by a minimum score of 500 in TOEFL ITP/Prediction or 80 in TOEFL iBT.
* Status Requirements: Must not be a civil servant (ASN), active military (TNI), or police (Polri) personnel, and must not possess a National Employee Identification Number (NIP).
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in organizational activities, research, or internships.
* Prior exposure to Bappenas, the World Bank, or other international development agencies.
* Specialized knowledge in tourism, development economics, sustainable development, public policy, or international cooperation.
