## Job Position: Logistics Operator
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Logistics Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting manufacturing workflows.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Logistics Operator at SIMCO, your day-to-day tasks will encompass a blend of logistics management, equipment handling, and routine maintenance support. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing end-to-end logistics workflows, including proper goods storage and meticulous inventory recording.
* Operating production machinery while strictly adhering to established Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Performing basic preventive maintenance tasks such as visual inspections, lubrication, and minor part replacements.
* Handling operational transport duties using an active driver's license (SIM A).
* Operating forklifts safely and efficiently within the facility.
* Utilizing basic computer systems, including Microsoft Excel or manual inventory tracking software.
Candidate Requirements
To ensure success in this role, applicants must meet the following professional and educational criteria:
* Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) with a technical background; majors in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering are strongly preferred.
* Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working in manufacturing, logistics, or maintenance environments.
* Licensing: Must possess a valid SIM A driver's license and certification or proficiency in operating a forklift.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic machinery operation, inventory tracking software, and fundamental preventive maintenance concepts.
* Workplace Standards: Strong understanding and application of 5S principles (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) and strict adherence to occupational health and safety (K3) regulations.
