## Role Overview: HSE Staff
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Staff member to join our team. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for safeguarding our most valuable assets—our employees and the environment—by ensuring that every process across our facilities aligns with international safety protocols and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As an HSE Staff member, your daily contributions will be vital in maintaining a secure and productive workplace. Your primary duties include:
* Policy Implementation: Developing and enforcing comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment policies to minimize operational risks.
* Safety Inspections: Conducting regular facility walk-throughs to ensure all safety equipment is functional and work areas remain hazard-free.
* Incident Management: Proactively identifying potential risks, managing emergency response, and generating detailed reports for any workplace incidents.
* Training & Education: Facilitating safety workshops and instructing staff on the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Regulatory Compliance: Monitoring changes in safety legislation and ensuring that the company maintains full compliance with all relevant environmental and safety mandates.
## Candidate Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to foster a culture of safety across diverse teams. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Diploma (D3) degree in a relevant field.
* Professional Certification: Must hold a valid AK3 Umum (General OHS) certificate.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office suite and demonstrated ability to use AutoCAD.
* Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of HSE workflows, environmental management, and current legislative requirements.
* Soft Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence staff at all levels.
* Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
* Strong collaborative spirit as a team player, while remaining capable of managing independent tasks.
* Preferred Experience: Previous professional experience as an HSE staff member in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred.
