## Understanding the Role: Junior Operator
As a Junior Operator at PT Jawa Satu Power, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuous, safe, and efficient generation of electricity. Working directly under the supervision of the Unit Controller and Shift Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of complex gas turbine combined cycle power station equipment, ensuring adherence to the highest safety and operational standards.
Core Responsibilities
* Monitor, control, and operate combined cycle power (CCP) station systems safely and efficiently.
* Follow established operational guidelines and directives provided by the Shift Leader and Unit Controller.
* Maintain operational stability through careful observation of plant performance metrics and environmental controls.
* Adapt seamlessly to a structured rotating shift schedule to ensure 24/7 plant reliability.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this technical position, applicants must meet specific educational backgrounds and professional prerequisites to handle the demands of a high-capacity power plant.
Educational Background
* Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in one of the following engineering disciplines:
* Electrical Engineering
* Instrumentation & Control Engineering
* Chemical Engineering
* Mechanical Engineering
Professional Experience
* At least 2 years of relevant hands-on working experience in an industrial setting, preferably within a power generation environment.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
* Familiarity with combined cycle power plant operations and basic water chemistry principles.
* Ability to interpret non-complex electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
* Strong comprehension of standard power generation terminology, plant functions, and operational processes.
* Proficiency in reading and understanding Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and logic diagrams.
* Exceptional analytical capabilities and robust critical-thinking skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness and procedural compliance.
* Strong professional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
